Adventure Mini Golf // Bundoora

Now that the weather is finally heating up in Melbourne, outdoor activities are a must to make the most of the sunshine and have some fun at the same time.

We are lucky here in Melbourne to have an abundance of things to do but quite often it takes a bit of research to scope out something new and exciting.

On the weekend we ventured out to Bundoora and upon looking for things to do we stumbled across Adventure Mini Golf at the Latrobe golf park. Outdoor mini golf is always a great way to spend a few hours and perfect for getting some vitamin D.

On your way in to the car park, there’s a cute little drive through coffee building that also features delicious healthy smoothies and sweet treats. You might want to stop here first and quench your thirst before the serious competition you are about to endure.

Adventure Mini Golf at Latrobe Golf Park features two 18-hole courses that intertwine, (the Lakes Course & Desert course) or you can choose to do both. Both courses are pretty similar and provide a good range of easy to slightly more difficult holes (but probably quite easy for the big kids). We did find that some of them were a little too sloped at the hole which made it hard for the little ones to get it in. The course itself is really well maintained and features lots of lovely landscaped greenery. There’s plenty of space and it’s quite lovely just to stroll around on a warm day.

After finishing the course, there is a lovely little playground at the entrance for the kids to enjoy as well. They also have sheltered picnic areas where you can stop and have a rest and if it is a warm summers day we suggest you bring water with you. The cafe inside it small but does feature a few nibbles, ice-creams and drinks. There is also a great driving range for the slightly more advanced golfers amongst us.

Overall, Adventure Mini Golf in Bundoora is a great spot to spend a few hours of fun and we loved the addition of the little coffee cart outside. Prices are affordable for the entertainment provided and it would be a great spot for a kids party! If you want to skip the busy times of day, they are also open to 9pm for some moonlit golfing.
