We could possibly have been the last to find out about LaManna Direct Cafe because it is absolutely chock-a-block on the weekends and very hard to get a seat.
Attached to the very popular LaManna Supermarket, this cafe serves up an abundance of wonderful menu options, delicious food, great coffee and all at affordable prices.
We have attended now on several occasions for their Acai bowls, which you can have sit in or takeaway (if you can’t find a seat!). Served with crunchy granola, fresh fruit and frozen Acai berries, they are everything you would want from an Acai bowl and for only $12, they are a bargain!
We have also tried the Pear Porridge ($9.50) served with blueberries, chia seeds, hazelnuts and honey and it was exquisite. We absolutely love when simple food is produced really well and LaManna Direct Cafe are very good at it and that is why they are so popular. They are also known for their Italian Piadina which comes in several different flavours.
The cafe also offers a kids menu, plenty of drink options including smoothies as well as a cabinet filled with healthy takeaway items for those in a scurry.
We would suggest making the most of your visit by finishing off your breakfast, brunch or lunch date with a look around LaManna Supermarket where you will find 100% Australian gorwn fresh fruit and vegetables as well as meat and deli options, everyday grocery items and an array of delicious cakes from their very own patisserie.
Due to its popularity, you can’t book a table so it is best to go early morning before everyone arrives as it gets busy from about 10am or utilise their takeaway options. They also have an outdoor covered area with more tables for those extra busy mornings but be prepared for a wait. It will be worth it.
